The guided tour of Positano will focus more on the scenic beauty of one of the most enchanting places on the Amalfi coast. It starts from the landing point of the boats from which you can see the colored houses positioned vertically on the rock, offering a postcard view. A few steps from the sea we explore the historic center which has its heart in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the oldest and largest religious building that stands where an ancient Benedictine monastery once stood. Its dome can be seen from every point of the town and is covered with yellow, green and blue majolica.
The bell tower was built in 1707 with a medieval bas-relief. The walking tour continues in the alleys and along some stairways that offer unique panoramic views, we are overwhelmed by the bright colors that characterize the clothing of the famous Positano beachwear. There are many shops and boutiques where you can go shopping and have a pair of typical leather sandals made, made to measure and personalized by tourists with jewel or marine-themed ornaments. The alleys are embellished by the colorful ceramics of the shops and smell of citrus thanks to the many lemon and cedar trees that frame the most beautiful villas in the town.
The guided tour ends by returning to the coast and walking on the avenue of nightlife full of restaurants and cafes where you can admire the beach of Marina Grande, one of the most beautiful and largest beaches in Positano, a destination for many tourists in the summer and bathed by the crystal clear waters of the Amalfi Coast
