The walking tour start from Arco Marchesale gate, we’ll visit the historical centre, the heart of a lovely restored ancient village on the Adriatic Coast, the entrance is via an old archway into narrow flag paved street with charming shops and cafes.

We will visit the church Saint Mary Assunta then we will go up to the bridge and see lama Monachile with the rocky beach that appears in all the captivating photos of Polignano, and its most popular landmark.

Downtown is just a matter of culture and history, amazing nice buildings and very special atmosphere, It is a labyrinth of treats, old houses all linked to each other, little squares and all standing huddled together over a series of caves fringed on the sea below.

The dramatic setting on cliffs above the sea provides a backdrop for the stone buildings and winding streets trod by generations for thousands of years.

The town’s rocky beach sits at the bottom of a small canyon with sheltered swimming in the azure blue Adriatic.
